Brief Information ; Unity Mission School strongly believes that the best way to shape the future is to nurture it.The mission to serve the less fortunate children of society began in the year 1999 when Unity Mission School was founded by, internationally renowned Islamic scholar and social reformer, Dr. Kalbe Sadiq with nine children.
Today the School has grown to a strength of more than 1400 students. The school provides a well furnished Library, a Computer Lab, Science Labs and a big playground along with the spacious, well-ventillated classrooms.
The school is from Nursery to Class VIII. Children are provided with books,stationery, uniform, shoes, sweaters etc. by the school, free of cost.Free Medical aid is also provided to the students.
Emphasis is laid on the all round development of the child. The school aims at providing quality education and high moral values to the students. The staff is qualified and conscientious. The whole syllabus is divided into three terms, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual Examinations. Several extra curricular activities like debates, quiz, essay writing competitions, drawing competitions and recitation competitions are conducted periodically along with inter House sports evets like Cricket, Basketball, Football, Kho-Kho, Badminton etc. Urdu, Theology(Deenyat) is compulsory for Muslim Students, Namaz-e-Jamaat is made compulsory for Muslim boys upto Class VIII. Debate competitions are organized during the auspicious months of Ramzan, 13th Rajab, Moharram and other important Islamic dates. Functions are also organized on 15th August and 26th January.
Mother's meet is organized regularly in which mothers are briefed on importance of inculcation of punctuality, regularity, discipline and neatness in children. Orientation Programmes for teachers are organized. There are motivational lectures for children by people from various walks of life. Emphasis is laid on development of language and numerical skills.
Medical Check-up of all students is held twice a year. It has been observed that a number of children have weak eyesight. Spectacles are arranged for such children.
There are separate sections for overage students and a special syllabus is designed for such students. A school literary club has been established. There is also a book bank. Picnics and educational tours are also organized. Free bus service is provided to students coming from distant places. There are two school buses and many rickshaws fetching students from Dargah, Kazmain and other distant areas.
Vocational training programme for senior students is also being arranged.
The school is surging ahead with the belief and is showing light to the society. Due to the untiring efforts of the institution the destiny of many children is, not at stake but is, being haped in the classrooms. May Allah accept and bless our humble endeavour and make our mission a success by providing bright future to children.
